When the iconic “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster became mainstream, people loved the overall message, and they also love to modify it from its original format. I’m no exception, and created my own personalized version of this iconic poster.
Using our surname, in place of the word “party”, I created this cute personalized poster inspired by the world war 2 British propaganda posters. Here’s a little tidbit of history for you in case you’re curious about where these came from:
I created my poster on my computer, and then sent it off to Staples for them to print a 16×20 poster. You can also check out this website where you can create your own propaganda poster.
I used a white RIBBA frame from ikea for my poster, and it hangs in my front hall at the top of the staircase leading to the basement. I love this project, since it can be customized to say anything and can fit into any design or colour scheme.
Let’s check out how designers have used this iconic poster in their designs.
