This April Fools Day, I wanted to play a prank on my co-workers. So, I decided to make some yummy cupcakes, and then put them out for everyone to eat, along with a list of the cupcake ingredients.
Here is the completed display with the cupcakes and a sign wishing everyone a Happy April Fools Day.
I made chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting.
I also made butter pecan cupcakes with caramel icing. These tasted really yummy.
The cute polka dot cupcakes cups were paired with polka dot napkins, and I made the sign with leftover scrapbook paper I had used for an Easter display.
For the list of ingredients, I just made a little sign displayed in front of the cupcakes.
When the card is turned over, it says this. Bahahahahaha!!!!! Funny, right?
I’m going to assume that they were a hit, since they were all pretty much gone by 10am today. It was fun little prank, and I loved experimenting with different flavours of icing. I’m also happy that I finally have a place to put my toenails. jj 😉
