In our neighbourhood, there are a lot of new housing developments going up. Our tiny community has grown nearly tenfold since we first made it our home nearly fifteen years ago.
All the new homes being built is great for our property value, and I love all the new amenities that come with a growing population. One of the additional perks for me is getting to check out the model homes.
This is the Barossa model. We checked it out one evening while out on a walk.
Here is the gorgeous entryway. The home was designed by Rooms of Distinction. Check out their website here: http://roomsofdistinction.ca/
This beautiful living and dining room combination has some lovely taupe and lilac tones that compliment all the reflective surfaces.
I love that mirrored sideboard, and have a serious crush on that tray ceiling.
The eat in kitchen features a stunning marble floor and a spacious dining area that comfortably can seat eight.
The floor to ceing dark cabinets are a rich black-brown. I don’t know how one would ever retrieve any items from those top cabinets, but they sure do look elegant.
Check out that awesome range, and french door stainless steel fridge. Wowzers!
The family room has the most amazing coffered ceiling I’ve ever seen. Love it!!!! Like a lot!!!
Here’s a pic of the formal dining area.
This is the other side of the formal living/dining room.
The main floor powder room features a wall of gorgeous floor to ceiling tile. Loving the colour combination.
Let’s move upstairs now to check out the master bathroom. This bathroom speaks for itself. Love the tile…. Lol (It’s the same tile that’s in my kids bathroom).
The master bedroom is massive. You could literally fit two bedrooms into this master. Again, I’m having ceiling envy with the tray ceiling.
Well, that’s it for our tour of the beautifully designed model home, done by Tina Frazone from Rooms of Distinction. It was so much fun to walk through, and I’ll do another post soon of one of the other model homes. I’ll be back again on Saturday with a new post, so I’ll see you then 🙂
