My front garden was screaming out for some much needed pizzazz lately, but I was never sure what to add that would be subtle enough not to look garish, but impactful enough to make a statement. Decorating gardens can be tricky, since it’s really easy to “over-do” it, but while browsing around my local thrift store, an idea hit me.
Glowing Garden Orbs!!!!! I Love how these glow at night.
Here is a Before pic of a boring section of my front garden. Yawn, right?
These are the glass light covers I found for $1.99 at my local thrift store. The battery operated lights were purchased last Christmas from Home Hardware, and are intended for outdoor use.
This project was done in about 10 seconds flat. Lol. Just add the lights into the orbs and place in the garden. Finito.
Here they are at home in their new spot. Just the right amount of pizzazz.
Here is a pic of my peonies. I heart them.
And, just for fun, here is my chalkboard I’ve decorated for Spring that sits on my front porch.
Okay, back to the glowing orbs. Here is a pic taken at dusk. The orbs look so much better in person. The glow reminds me of the moon.
Close up as it got darker outside.
I love how well this inexpensive and unique garden decor turned out.
Another gratuitous peony shot… Lol.
