The green beer and festivities are right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by spending it with family and friends. I LOVE putting together tablescapes, and always take advantage of doing a new one for just about every season and holiday and the end result is this St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape.
St. Patrick’s Day is no exception, and I put together this table using items I had around the house, purchased at the dollar store and my local virtual garage sale.
I bought this fun green and yellow checked tablecloth and napkin set for $5.00 off my local buy and sell group. I figured it would be perfect to use for this tablescape since it has some Irish flag tones in it.
Once the tablecloth was in place, I then began layering in some other fun items, starting with a faux boxwood runner. These squares were picked up at the dollar store.
I then added some faux boxwood balls (also from the dollar store) and since leprechauns love gold, I searched for some random gold items to add in as well. I shopped my house and found a gold flower pot, imitation gold coins my husband bought off eBay years ago, some spray painted rocks that look like gold nuggets, and a gold beaded necklace.
Each place setting also came complete with a little “pot of gold”. I used the imitation gold coins for this as well. The sign was also a dollar store find, and I think it’s hilarious 😉
I used my gold chargers, and added a faux pear to each place setting. Don’t eat these….they’re just decor people….
I also added in my “Lucky” sign I made last year to the window sill. You can check out how I made that using scrap wood blocks here.
I hope you all have a wonderful and joy filled St. Patrick’s Day. See you soon friends,
