I love Spring, Easter time, the renewal of all the colours outdoors and saying goodbye to winter. I also love to entertain and getting together with loved ones, and Easter is no exception. That’s why I was super excited to be able to put together this fun Easter tablescape.
In this post, I’ll share how I put together this quick and easy tablescape for our Easter dinner.
I started with the checked tablecloth. This is a heavy fabric that I bought years ago, as I was planning on make curtains with it. That plan never materialized, and I ended up forgetting about the fabric, until recently when we revamped our closet and I rediscovered it stored away in a box. Woo hoo! 😉
Next, I added this fun boxwood garland (found at the dollar store) around each charger. I love how this turned out, as it ties together all the green tones of the season.
Next I busted out my clear glass plates and wine glasses. My late grandmother-in-law’s gorgeous silver was displayed proudly for the occasion, and I love how it makes everything feel sparkly and elegant.
For the centrepiece, I added my vintage farmhouse toolbox that I built earlier this month. You can read all about that project here.
I added some faux tulips (but real ones will work just fine too) to my toolbox centrepiece with floral foam, along with some spanish moss to fill in the gaps along with some painted Easter eggs.
It was a wonderful dinner, and the company was even better. Hope you all have a wonderful and “hoppy” Easter Everyone 🙂
