It’s (almost) Fall Ya’ll. I’ve turned the corner on this new season and have finally let go of my denial about Summer ending. I feel like it was ‘the summer that never really was’, if you know what I mean? One thing that I love to do to celebrate anything, whether it’s a special occasion or a changing season, is to put together a tablescape. #iamadorkandiknowit
This Cornucopia Fall Tablescape was fun to put together and I’m happy to be sharing it along with links to my blogging friends’ Fall Inspired Tablescapes as well. Be sure to check them out at the bottom of this post.
If you know me, I usually always stick to neutrals in my seasonal decor, but not this time my friend! I went for bold and bright very traditional Fall colours, with a little turquoise mixed in for good measure.
I picked up this cornucopia at a thrift store years ago and have never really used it. When I was debating (with myself) about what I wanted this table to look like I decided to make the center of the table it’s own veritable cornucopia.
Some fun pumpkins from Target, Dollar Tree and Michaels were also added to give some texture.
I went with paper napkins from the dollar store for this table (how un-chic, huh?), but I love the colours in them and they work perfectly with the Fall tones I was aiming for.
I bought these pears years ago from the Dollar Tree and spray painted them gold. I pull them out every now and then because they really do work well with so many different themes.
Very colourful and cheery table against a neutral backdrop makes for a bright and energetic atmosphere.
These pinecone candle holders were another project of mine that you can check out here —> How to Make Pinecone Candle Holders
The turquoise tablecloth was picked up at a thrift store and I loved how the Spanish tile shape mimics the wallpaper. I also love how well it contrasts with the burnt orange tones in the larger tablecloth. Sometimes opposite ends of the spectrum work surprisingly well together.
I didn’t have a chance to stain my new benches, yet, but you get the idea.
Happy Fall Everyone!!! Be sure to check out what my blogging friends have put together for their Fall Inspired Tablescapes.

You read my mind with your comment, “the summer that never was.” It’s nice to hear I’m not the only one who feels this way 🙂 I LOVE the turquoise tablecloth you threw into the mix – such a fun and unexpected pop of color. Thank you for joining in on this blog hop!
