We’re going to go back several years on these pics, but I wanted to show some pics from all different rooms I’ve done over the years. So, here goes…. a post about the cute nursery I did for our youngest daughter using pink, cream, and hot pink.
I used the bedding as my jumping off point for the colour scheme.
The glider was custom made from Babies R Us. It is from the Dutalier line. It was the big splurge for the room, but I spent hours upon hours in that chair feeding, rocking, and reading stories to our daughter, so I felt like it was well worth it.
The dresser was purchased at a garage sale, and I painted stripes on the sides and top, and solid pink on the drawer fronts. The cute knobs were purchased at Home Depot.
It’s hard to tell, but I painted the walls a soft pink, and the wall where the window is, is a cream colour. The change table was given to me by a friend, who had painted it. The colour seemed to match the greens in the bedding perfectly, so I just left it that colour. I did add the fabric though to cover the clutter using a staplegun.
This cute little night table belonged to me when I was little. I painted it to match this nursery.
The bed canopy was purchased on eBay, and I loved how it pulled everything together.
That’s it for the Saturday blog post. Hope you all enjoy your day, and I’ll be back tomorrow 🙂
