Although my deck is long past needing a facelift, I still love to kick back and relax with friends and family out back. Outdoor Entertaining is one of my favourite things to do, and I’m excited to show you this fun little set up I put together all based around my awesome new outdoor rug 🙂
Sponsored Post Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I did receive product from Rug Studio in exchange for my honest opinion about their rug and the service. All opinions are my own.
I love to host dinners and enjoy warm summer evenings with guests, so outdoor entertaining is the perfect combination for me. But, there was one item missing from my back deck décor… a rug.
This amazing indoor/outdoor carpet was generously provided by Rug Studio. They have a truly amazing selection and the quality is superb. I chose this pattern, as it reminds me of a garden trellis. And, as the Dude says “the rug really ties the room together.” Lol. #thebiglebowski
The charcoal colour of this rug contrasts beautifully with the purple and lime tones in the cushions. I love how its neutral colour works with several different décor styles and I can easily change up the cushions as much as I like and it’ll still look great.
Now that my outdoor living room is good to go, I could focus on the table settings. I chose to set up this intimate dinner party on my coffee table for a unique twist. This casual set up encouraged guests to focus on the company after a light dinner. After the food, we settled into these comfy chairs with some wine and great conversation.
I love my glass plates and one of my favourite things to do when entertaining is to use paper plates in between a charger and the plate. This trick allows for endless options for table settings and colour schemes.
No party is complete without wine, and what better summer wine than a delicious Moscato. I added some fragrant peonies from my garden to this wine tray to welcome guests.
This fun little set up was the perfect way to welcome the warmer temperatures and long leisurely evenings.
See you next time friends,
